About Rose of Sharon Bermuda
Claire-Anne Raynor is a woman of excellence and is always passionate about anything she does. She started Rose of Sharon (or ROS) after being deeply involved in the event planning industry since 1999. Her company is committed to using their skills and expertise in event planning to help make their clients’ dreams come true. The secret to their success lies in listening to their clients and taking note of their individual needs, desires, and specific cultural customs.
Rose of Sharon’s events are always carefully planned and executed with utmost care. The Rose of Sharon philosophy is to always plan and style celebrations or weddings that leave clients feeling awed and satisfied with their work. With their years of experience officially planning weddings and events, Claire-Anne and her team have successfully executed several multicultural—Christian, Nigerian, and South Asian (Hindu)—weddings and events.
Highlights of Claire-Anne’s Proud Moments
Weeks after the sudden death of her husband, Claire-Anne managed to successfully plan and execute the Island’s first full Hindu wedding.
This was the year when Claire-Anne had the honor of being the Conference Planner of the Coterie Retreat held on the Island.
Claire-Anne was the chosen event planner for two Bermuda Tourism Authority events: Bermuda Restaurant Week’s signature event with Chef Eric Adjepong, which focused on the construction of the first Methodist Church that slaves built. She was also responsible for planning a seated dinner on the Spirit of Bermuda.
Rose of Sharon Bermuda won two awards from the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation and was sponsored by the Bermuda Tourism Authority for Innovative Tourism Product. We were also one of the winners of the Women’s Entrepreneurs Conference People’s Choice Award.
